Well, so much has been going on these last few weeks! I've been meaning to tell this story for a while. When I roll Abigail's hair, she always wants to know when the rollers can come out (she doesn't like having her hair rolled). I would always tell her I would take them out when her curls were set. So now she always asks me, "Mommy, is my hair sitting?" Kids are so funny!
Here is the back view of the sitting hair. Her hair doesn't hold curl well, so it falls very fast, by the end of church it's almost gone. And I use TONS of hairspray!
And introducing Abigail's birthday gift, Tommy (also known as Thomas and Tom). This fish is so funny. The bowl we bought him came with two types of Betta food, and he would not eat either one. I told Billy, this fish is not eating, and he reminded me that our other Betta fish didn't eat. But they would eat a little bit! This fish only ate one piece of food, and refused to eat. So I bought him some different food at Wal-Mart (he hadn't eaten in a week). He was so hungry he was diving down into the rocks after pieces of sinking food! So we discovered that Tommy is a very picky eater (much like his new owner)!
On Saturday, I took Abigail to see Peter Pan at the Wichita Children's Theater. She loved it and had so much fun. The funny thing was that after the show, you could go next door to meet the actors and get their autographs. She wanted to go in, so we did. I asked her if she wanted to wait in line and meet Peter Pan and Wendy, but she didn't want to, so we began to leave. Then Abigail began crying, and I asked her what was wrong. "Mommy, I want Peter Pan to sign my paper!" But she didn't want to go up there, she wanted to stand behind me! So Mommy had to get the paper signed by Peter Pan and Wendy, she didn't want any other autographs, not even Tiger Lily's! I guess she is turning into a bashful child, just like I was.And Happy Father's Day to a wonderful Daddy! I love you so much! And to Papa, thank you for raising a son who knows how to love on his kids, you taught him how! And thanks to the BEST daddy and husband in the world, who works at least 50 to 60 hours a week, and still plays with the kids, keeps up the lawn, and cleans the bathrooms! Love you!
