Merry Christmas!!

Well, we had a wonderful Christmas this year (we always do though). We started before Christmas with an early "Christmas Eve" and "Christmas Day" at our house.
We spent the night in Horseshoe Bay with my Dad, and took a look at the new house he bought. It will be wonderful when it is remodeled, but I do admit I will miss his cozy lake condo that he will sell when the house is finished.

Then, we drove up to San Antonio to be with Billy's family. We spent Christmas Eve at Billy's cousin Brenda's house, and Christmas Day at his brother Herschel's house. There was good food and good company!

On Saturday, we spent another day with family and finished the day with a trip to the Riverwalk to look at the lights.

Finally, on Sunday, we drove home to Wichita Falls, and played in the snow that was still on the ground!!! At first, we were so sad when we heard we were missing a "white Christmas." It would have been everyone's first except mine (but I haven't had one in a VERY long time)...but when we came home, we found that we missed all the drama and just got to enjoy the snow! So it all worked out in the end:)
