Abigail's First Date

Last night Abigail went on her first Birthday date with her Daddy. That was one of my favorite family traditions when I was a kid, getting to go out with dinner to the place of my choice, just me and my Dad. Abigail was very excited. We put on a pretty dress, and she decided to go to Olive Garden. Billy was thankful, because one of her favorite places to eat is Golden Corral, or as she says "Golden Crown" (like mother like daughter, it's one of my favorites too--who could resist a yummy salad, yeast rolls, and CABBAGE!!), and he hates it--to be fair, he hates all buffets. Ask Haiden Isom what the letters in Buffet stand for, it's funny:)

On Sunday, my aunt Carol and cousin Rachelle showed up for the night quite unexpectedly! We were so happy to see them, I hadn't seen them since my cousin Alyson's wedding in 2006...I had never seen Rachelle's twin girls, Alexandria and Cheyenne. They are such dolls, and as Rachelle says, "Tom Girls" just like their mommy!
I'll tell y'all what, God picks SPECIAL mommies to have twins, it's hard work! But my cousin Rachelle handles it with grace:) The kids had fun playing on Grammy and Poppy's piano...I don't think they were sorry when the night was over LOL:)
