I am sick and tired of people disrespecting our president!! Of course he has made mistakes, who hasn't? People are so rude and they actually hate him. Why? Because he has stood strong in a time of trouble? Because he has done his best to protect our country from war and lunatics? Because he believes that we need to be on the offensive and not on the defensive? Do we really want to fight a war on American soil? That is what will happen if we "bring out troops home!" Please, do these people not realize that the American military still has a very strong presence in Germany and Asia? WWII ended in 1945! Yet we need to pull the troops out of Iraq ASAP so all the terrorists can take it over. Islamic extremists have been a problem since the middle ages, Crusades anyone? Ask the people of France if they wish they has stood up to the terrorists when they had the chance, there are parts of Paris the police will not go to! Thank God we have had a president these last eight years who is not afraid to stand his ground! We can only pray for our next president, but I can say that I will not disrespect him no matter how much I may disagree with his decisions. What happened to treating everyone with decency?

Yes Mandy, I was reading MSN last night had the firecracker was lit!! I try to not read the news that often, because it can just bring me down (or fire me up!), but I feel like I have to keep up with current events somewhat.
I couldn't agree with you more!!! We must respect the office of presidency whether we respect the man or not. (btw - I HIGHLY respect our current president - in his current office and as a man)
